Klim Swim Terms & Conditions
Make up class policy
If your child is sick or on school camp and cannot attend their lesson please let us know and we will schedule them into a make up class at the following times:
Week 6: for any lesson missed in the 1st five weeks of term
Week 10: for asny lesson missed from week 6 to week 10
Anyone not able to make it to one of these scheduled make up sessions will forfeit the missed lesson.
If a family has one child ill and another child in that family cannot make their lesson because of this, both children can be granted make up lessons. Missed lessons will not be transferred or credited to the folowing term unless multiple lessons have been missed and a medical certificate provided. Lessons missed due to holidays cannot be made up. A lesson missed due to school camp can be granted.
Refund Policy
Klim Swim has a strict refund policy. If your child sustains an injury that prohibits participation, we will credit the mised lessons to the next term upon presentation of a doctor's certificate. Parents must notify Klim Swim of the situation in writing so that arrangements can be made. Klim Swim will only refund monies if a child is unfit to swim permanently. No refunds will be given for families taking early holidays, moving interstate or any other reasons.
Rebooking for the next term
The procedure for rebooking is as follows and is the responsibility of the student's parents to rebook them for the following term. Klim Swim does not automatically rebook students.
3rd last week of term: all students are given a rebooking card. If your child is remaining in the same level you can rebook this week into the
exact same class/day/time only. You have
priority for your same class during this week only.
Last 2 weeks of term: all classes are open to all current students as well as new students for the next term.
Payment must be received at the time of booking and rebooking. Students cannot be rebooked unless full payment is received and there are no part payments. We accept cash, cheque, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard) and eftpos.

Classes will be added prior and during term as they are in demand. In order for a class to run there must be at least 3 children booked in. Some children may be re-allocated if class size is too small. In the event of this happening customers will be given sufficient notice.
Progression through the program
Students are progressed to the next level once they have achieved the requirements of their current level. All students are continually assessed throughout the term. Once a teacher believes a student is ready to progress to the next level they will advise the co-ordinator who will then assess the student at their next lesson.
During your child's lesson
You are welcome to observe your child's lesson from the seating provided around the pool. Please do not come up to your child whilst they are in the teacher's care during the lesson. This is distracting for the teacher, your child and the other students in the class.
If you need to speak to the teacher about anything please direct your questions to the supervisor on pool deck or at the swim desk. The time you want to spend with your child's teacher cuts into other students' time in the next class.
No Play Lanes
During the Learn to Swim programs there are no play lanes.
Swim Caps
All students must wear a Klim swim cap during lessons.
Lost Property
Any items left at the centre will be placed in our lost property. This of course is provided that no one else has taken the items first. Please call the centre reception once you realise you have left something with us. Please ensure you take all items with you.

The swim desk will be attended between 3:30pm and 6:30pm Mon - Fri and 9:00am - 12:30pm Saturday. If you have any queries regarding your child's class or their progression through the levels please do not hesitate to speak to Klim Swim Customer Service. We are happy to help you.
